Optimise Consulting Services LTD was contracted in February 2020 to design and conduct the external evaluation of the European project \u201cACTIVE – Focus on children; Strengthening Policies in Sports and Leisure ACTIVitiEs\u201d (acronym: ACTIVE) which addresses the call priority \u201cEmbedding of child safeguarding policies across different settings and sectors\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The overall objective of the ACTIVE project is to promote the embedding of child safeguarding policies across different sports clubs and organisations, extra-curricular activities and\/or leisure\/recreation clubs\/organisations for children in Greece, Cyprus, Portugal and Italy through the exchange of know-how with Scotland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This 24 months\u2019 project, which started in October 2019, is realised under the coordination of \u201cKMOP – Social Action and Innovation Center\u201d in Greece and in cooperation with the project partners \u201cCARDET – Center for the Advancement of Research & Development in Educational Technology\u201d in Cyprus, \u201cCESIE\u201d in Italy, \u201cCentro de Estudos Para a Intervencao Social\u201d in Portugal and the \u201cRoyal Scottish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Children\u201d in Scotland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
