Optimise Consulting Services LTD was contracted in February 2020 to design and conduct the external evaluation of the European project “ACTIVE – Focus on children; Strengthening Policies in Sports and Leisure ACTIVitiEs” (acronym: ACTIVE) which addresses the call priority “Embedding of child safeguarding policies across different settings and sectors”.
The overall objective of the ACTIVE project is to promote the embedding of child safeguarding policies across different sports clubs and organisations, extra-curricular activities and/or leisure/recreation clubs/organisations for children in Greece, Cyprus, Portugal and Italy through the exchange of know-how with Scotland.
This 24 months’ project, which started in October 2019, is realised under the coordination of “KMOP – Social Action and Innovation Center” in Greece and in cooperation with the project partners “CARDET – Center for the Advancement of Research & Development in Educational Technology” in Cyprus, “CESIE” in Italy, “Centro de Estudos Para a Intervencao Social” in Portugal and the “Royal Scottish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Children” in Scotland.
